The Rivian (NASDAQ: RIVN) R1T was bestowed with the 2022 MotorTrend Truck of the Year Award by the publication on Monday. The company beat out other big name competitors such as Ford Motor, General Motors, and Hyundai Motor.

EV Fans are celebrating the win as a mid size truck from a startup electric manufacturer beat every other truck MotorTrend had tested. MotorTrend declared the model “the most remarkable pickup truck” it has driven.
