Mullen Provides an Update on its Next-Gen Battery Test

Mullen Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MULN) provided an update on its next-generation solid-state polymer battery technology earlier today.
Shares of Mullen Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MULN) surged over 45% during the premarket trading session following the announcement.
Battery Capable of 600+ Miles
According to the data collected from solid-state cell testing, Mullen’s battery was capable of performing over a range of 600-plus miles on a full charge and over 300 miles of range delivered in 18 minutes with DC fast charging.

To sum up, we tested our 300 Ah (ampere-hour) cell which yielded 343 Ah at 4.3 volts, and the results surpassed all expectations. Additionally, the company is conducting extensive research and development into other advanced battery technologies, including lithium-sulphur and lithium-iron-phosphate, even as it continues work towards utilizing solid-state polymer battery packs in its second generation Mullen FIVE EV Crossovers.
Mullen’s ultimate goal is to deliver EV batteries that surpass currently existing lithium-Ion technology and offer numerous additional benefits such as increased efficiency, energy density, and range.
