(NASDAQ: MQ) opened 6.9% higher than the previous day\u2019s close.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outgoing CFO<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Tripp Faix, the company\u2019s outgoing Chief Financial Officer, has decided to step down to spend more time with family after three and a half years in his role but will stay with the company in an advisory role until March 31, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large\"><p>\u201cHaving spent the last ten years at Visa, I had a front row seat to the rise of Marqeta and the innovations they\u2019ve opened up globally with their modern card issuing platform.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><cite> Mike Milotich <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Mr. Milotich is set to join the company following a decade-long tenure at Visa in various financial leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Finance.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large\"><p>\u201cAfter a thorough executive search, it was clear that Mike\u2019s deep payments experience makes him an excellent fit for Marqeta.
