The restrictions are specific to land and ferry crossings of the border, with flights to the U.S. still allowed under certain conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canada open for American Travelers<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the latest extension of restrictions, fully vaccinated Americans have been able to enter Canada for non-essential visits since Aug. 9th, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/politics\/u-s-extending-travel-restrictions-at-border-with-canada-for-another-30-days-1.5554684\">according <\/a>to CTV News.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Covid-19 Resurgence<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>However, citizens and businesses on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/economy\/us-canada-border-covid-19-travel-restrictions\">both <\/a>sides of the border <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/health\/coronavirus\/some-canadians-frustrated-they-still-can-t-cross-u-s-land-border-1.5518709\">have <\/a>expressed dismay at the consequences of travel restrictions.
