Walmart Canada says it plans to hire 12,000 permanent new employees across the country.
Push for Holiday Season
The intent to hire 12,000 new and permanent associates across Canada represents a major push for the busy holiday season and the retailer says its hiring spree will include on-the-spot job interviews across the country on October 14th and 15th. New workers are needed to fulfil online orders, work in various grocery departments, stock store shelves, prepare warehouse orders for shipment and drive delivery trucks.
Largest Employer
Walmart Canada is already one of Canada’s largest employers, with over 100,000 associates working across the country.
